IcARTus

For my art cycle called IcARTus, I found inspiration in the Greek legend Icarus. In the name Icarus I implanted letter T after letter R, and created word ART in the middle and it became IcARTus. Through the ages Icarus symbolized creativity and freedom. With my new invented word IcARTus, I wanted to emphasize that meaning. Using art tools to create sculpture/installation I made the connection between Icarus and Art. Harlequin Angels and Fairy are part of this cycle.
